Ufe was born in Santa Rita, Colombia, a small farming town an hour from Medellin. She comes from a very large family, she is one of 14 brothers and sisters, sadly 6 died during child birth or as infants, currently there are 5 living brothers and sisters. She is married to a handsome gentleman from Croatia. She has two daughters, one granddaughter and one grandson coming in May 2011. She graduated from the University of Antioquia with a degree in Law, she was also a professor at a private school. She left Colombia in the 80's to start a new life in Los Angeles, California.
In Los Angeles, she worked with her sister and progressed skills to acquired her real estate license. She then married and since has traveled to many amazing parts around the world, including Croatia, Italy and Chile. She has been fortunate to have been able to dedicate her time to her family and her artwork. Her artwork consists of approximately 70 collages, and countless drawings. She is an avid reader, with a large collection of books, she can read 2 books in about 3 days. She is also a writer and has written many poems and essays that she will soon include in a book.
